Air Jordan 13 Retro "Black Cat" - designed by Tinker Hatfield

Jordan Brand has done it again with the Air Jordan XIII, originally released in 1997. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, this popular model features a design inspired by the sleek and elusive panther.

Hatfield used the panther because he thought Jordan's movements on the court were very similar to the panther in the wild. The AJXIII features a whisker upper, midsole design that mimics a panther's paw, and its most identifiable element, a hologram "eye". This Air Jordan model has been re-released many times in many colorways, including the "Black Cat" version. The Air Jordan XIII Retro "Black Cat" model has a tonal black upper with reflective accents and a cat graphic on the insole.
